Belinda is a yogini pursuing a path of Harmony with the Divine. She first Experienced the transformative power of Yoga more than 11 years ago and has been tripping ever since. Although she wasn't aware of it at the time, her path as an Ayurvedic practitioner began 9 years ago, while she was studying plant defense compounds as part of her Masters thesis in ecophysiology. Ayurveda had many secrets to reveal to her, not only as a system for restoring and maintaining health and balance, but as a living body of Knowledge and Wisdom that allows us to realize our full Potential in Harmony with Nature and each other. Ultimately, it was the Union of Ayurveda and the Yogi's Path in her own life that unveiled the key to the most compassionate and organic r-Evolution of human consciousness, that will Heal both ourselves and our Planet. |

Belinda has studied and practiced Ayurveda for 8 years, actively consulting and teaching for the last 5 years (although her family would say it's been going on a LOT longer than that, ie. since telling a pregnant woman she shouldn't smoke, at the tender age of 5). |
Her Western studies have encompassed comparative and environmental physiology, endocrinology, nutrition, toxicology, ecology and energetics, at both the undergraduate (BSc) and graduate levels (MSc Research). Her travels have taken her across the globe... and beyond. The Bliss Yoga she is now deeply honoured to teach evolved from the organic integration of Samatha and Vipassana, the two most compassionate and insightful meditation practices, with Ayurveda, Tantra and Svaroopa Yoga. Her avid interest in nutrition, health care and cooking has spanned about half the time she's been on the planet and a wide range of lifestyles, including raw veganism. |
